Jeep Compass Track Edition Launched in India at ₹26.78 Lakh: Sportier Looks, Same Power

Jeep India has officially launched the Compass Track Edition, a limited-edition version of its popular SUV, adding distinctive cosmetic upgrades and interior refinements. Prices for the new Compass Track Edition start at ₹26.78 lakh (ex-showroom) for the manual variant, while the automatic and 4×4 versions are priced at ₹28.64 lakh and ₹30.58 lakh (ex-showroom) respectively.

Based on the top-spec Compass Model S, the Track Edition is designed to give the SUV a sportier and more exclusive appeal without any changes to its mechanical setup. The exterior gets a signature hood decal, Piano Black finish on the grille and badges, and a Track Edition emblem that distinguishes it from standard trims. Completing the look are 18-inch diamond-cut Tech Grey alloy wheels, enhancing the SUV’s bold and premium stance.

Inside, the Track Edition exudes an elevated sense of luxury and sportiness. The cabin features Tupelo Leatherette upholstery with Spruce Beige contrast stitching, Smoke Chrome accents, and embossed Jeep branding on the seats. Additional touches include Piano Black trim elements, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and Track Edition-branded floor mats, ensuring the limited-edition feel extends throughout the interior.

In terms of features, the Compass Track Edition retains Jeep’s comprehensive premium package. It offers a 10.1-inch Uconnect infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, and an Alpine premium audio system. For comfort, there are 8-way electronically adjustable ventilated leather seats with memory function, and a dual-pane panoramic sunroof — ideal for long drives and scenic getaways.

Under the hood, the SUV continues to be powered by the tried-and-tested 2.0-litre MultiJet II turbo-diesel engine, producing 170 bhp and 350 Nm of torque. Transmission choices include a 6-speed manual or a 9-speed automatic, with options for both 2WD and 4WD configurations.

With the new Compass Track Edition, Jeep aims to attract buyers seeking a sportier, feature-rich SUV that combines rugged capability with a premium, dynamic design — reaffirming its reputation in India’s competitive mid-size SUV segment.
