Kia India has announced that it sold 22,700 units in September 2025, registering a strong performance in the festive season. The sales surge has been largely attributed to the recent GST rationalisation on automobiles, which has reduced overall costs and boosted consumer demand.
The company reported that popular models such as the Kia Seltos, Sonet, and Carens contributed significantly to sales. Among these, the Seltos SUV remained the top seller, followed by strong demand for the Sonet compact SUV and the Carens MPV.
Kia also highlighted that the GST reforms, combined with festive season discounts and attractive financing options, have encouraged more buyers to opt for new vehicles. This has not only boosted sales for Kia but has also given momentum to the overall auto industry.
With the festive season underway, Kia India expects sales to remain robust in the coming months. The brand has also strengthened its focus on after-sales service, digital retail platforms, and customer-centric initiatives to improve the ownership experience.
The company is optimistic about sustaining this growth in Q4 2025, as the festive demand continues and new launches are expected to further attract buyers.
